Aisha Lemu

Bridget Honey entered university with an interest in religions and read about Islam while studying in London. She declared the shahada in 1961 and took the name Aisha. She moved to Nigeria and contributed to education, women's work, and the translation of Islamic knowledge. Her interviews and documented obituaries from Nigerian educational institutions record her story and long public service.
